Senior Advisor
Russell is an experienced business professional who has extensive international experience in business leadership, human resources and strategy. He spent 20 years in the fertilisers, chemicals and paint industries with ICI and then almost nine years on the Executive Committee of the FTSE 20 global mining company Anglo American - ultimately as its Chief Strategy Officer. Russell has in depth working experience of Europe, Africa, Asia and Australia.
His particular interest is in helping companies turn their business strategy into lasting competitive advantage through effective change management and top team development.
Russell is a non-executive director of Aggreko plc, and the founder of Sorrett Advisors, a company that provides strategy advice to a small number of international clients.
