GPI™

Objective
The overall objective of the GPI™ accreditation programme is to provide participants with two sets of skills. Firstly, to provide a comprehensive understanding of the theoretical basis of predisposition and its development in the light of previous academic research and literature. At a more practical level, to understand how GPI™ and predispositions fit with behaviours, competencies and the broader question of organisational performance. The second objective is to provide participants with the skills and know how for using the GPI™ in practical feedback situations in terms of individual coaching, selection processes, team development, leadership development, etc.

The accreditation workshop is three days in duration, is preceded by prework and has a follow up review process. The workshop is delivered as an open public event, but can also be delivered internally (to an organisation) or on a one to one basis.

The programme includes the following components:

  • Receiving GPI™ feedback about yourself
  • Developing understanding of predisposition in relation to the broader field of personality assessment
  • Developing understanding about how predisposition fits within the context of the Integrated Framework
    > How it links to behaviours
    > Its implications in terms of team and organisational performance
  • To develop an understanding about the research process and the rationale for the development of the GPI™ framework
  • To develop skills in the practice of providing GPI™ feedback in the following contexts
    > One to one feedback/coaching
    > Working with a team
    > As part of a leadership development process
    > For use in selection and talent management
  • To develop an understanding about how GPI™ can be used in the context of research, organisational diagnosis, culture change and change management
  • To develop skills in the administration of the GPI™, in particular the use of its highly practical IT platform

GMI

Objective
The overall objective of the GMI accreditation programme is to provide participants with two sets of skills. Firstly, to provide a comprehensive understanding of the theoretical basis of motivation and its development in the light of previous academic research and literature. At a more practical level, to understand how GMI fits within other motivation frameworks and the broader context of behaviours, competencies and organisational performance. The second objective is to provide participants with the skills and know how for using the GMI in practical feedback situations in terms of individual coaching, selection processes, team development, leadership development, etc.

The accreditation workshop is two day in duration and needs to follow successful accreditation on the GPI™. It is preceded by prework and has a follow up review process. The workshop is delivered as an open public event, but can also be delivered internally (to an organisation) or on a one-to-one basis.

The programme includes the following components:

  • Receiving GMI feedback about yourself
  • Developing understanding of motivaton in relation to the broader field of personality assessment
  • >Developing understanding about how motivation fits within the context of the Integrated Framework
    > How it links to behaviours
    > Its implications in terms of team and organisational performance
  • To develop an understanding about the research process and the rationale for the development of the GMI framework
  • To develop skills in the practice of providing GMI feedback in the following contexts
    > One to one feedback/coaching
    > Working with a team
    > As part of a leadership development process
    > For use in selection and talent management
  • To develop an understanding about how GMI can be used in the context of research, organisational diagnosis, culture change and change management
  • To develop skills in the administration of the GMI, in particular the use of its highly practical IT platform

ETLS™

The accreditation process is designed to give consultants in depth knowledge of the Glowinkowski™ Model of Behaviour, how it relates to the culture of an organisation and its ultimate impact upon performance. Participants also develop an understanding of the link between the predisposition and motivation models (GPI™ and GMI) and their underpinnings in terms of the behavioural framework. At a more practical level, participants will learn to run the various versions of the ETLS™ programme, developing their skills in coaching their workshop clients in the development of Blue 4 behaviour.

Depending on client needs, participants may become licensed in GPI™ and GMI as a precursor to the development of their ETLS™ delivery skills. As part of this overall process participants will also become licensed to use the ESI™ framework for Blue 4 behaviour and develop the skills to deliver relevant and powerful feedback to their own clients.

Aside from any formal training such as the GMI or GPI™, or additional workshops required by the client, ETLS™ is essentially licensed through a co-delivery process. A participant normally goes through an ETLS™ programme themselves as a participant and therefore experience the development programme in the fullest of senses. This experiential learning is then followed by co-delivery of ETLS™ programmes with a GIL facilitator. The participant becomes licensed in their own right when they feel comfortable with their achieved level of skill together with their facilitator signing off when they are satisfied the individual has reached the required skill and knowledge levels to deliver ETLS™ themselves.

Fees
Public events: ETLS™ accreditation fee, including event participation, workshop observation, two co-delivered events: £7,500 (plus VAT) – participants bear their own travel and accommodation costs.

For in-house organisations events, please contact us.

LOI™

The accreditation process is designed to give consultants an in depth knowledge of the Glowinkowski™ Integrated Framework, its various components of Organisational Structure, Leadership Behaviour, Processes and Climate, and how they fit together and drive organisational performance.

Participants also develop an understanding of the link between the predisposition and motivation models (GPI™ and GMI) and their underpinnings in terms of the Climate and behavioural framework. At a more practical level, participants will learn to run the various versions of the LOI™ programme, developing their skills in coaching their workshop clients in the development of organisational performance.

Aside from any formal training such as the GMI or GPI™, or additional workshops required by the client, LOI™ is essentially licensed through a co-delivery process. In this context a participant would normally go through an LOI™ programme themselves as a participant and therefore experience the development programme in the fullest of senses. This experiential learning is then followed by co-delivery of LOI™ programmes with a GIL facilitator. The participant becomes licensed in their own right when they feel comfortable with their achieved level of skill together with their facilitator signing off when they are satisfied the individual has reached the required skill and knowledge levels to deliver LOI™ themselves.

Competency

Our approach to accreditation in terms of the competency and behavioural frameworks is quite broad ranging and essentially driven by the needs of the organisational client. Our key motivation however is that when we get involved in competency work with our clients we seek to transfer skills and knowledge so that they may become self-sufficient in training and building up the pool of skills within the organisation that enables it to apply the competency framework extensively across the enterprise.

Competency Modelling

When developing competency frameworks our style of approach is to work with both HR and line managers and as broad a representation of the employee population as possible. In this way, a genuine sense of involvement and inclusion is achieved across an organisation that the framework, which will have a material impact upon how critical HR practices are managed, e.g. recruitment and performance management, has been designed and developed from within rather than foisted upon it from the outside. This involvement from the outset builds internal expertise and relevancy to the enterprise’s activities.

Competency Evaluation

Once the framework has been developed, its contribution to organisational performance and value generations comes from the manner in which competencies are assessed and evaluated at different points around the HR business cycle. Two of the most important areas concern recruitment and ongoing performance management and coaching. The competency evaluations that occur at these points require a more formal approach to accreditation, which can (and in our minds should) involve both HR and line managers. By involving both HR and line managers, it enables a strong, collaborative bond to be built and sustained between the HR function and its internal customers. As such, HR’s aim to make the organisation ‘behaviour-centric’ cannot be easily dismissed as a functional fad but, instead, allows it to become viewed as the crucial aspect of overall business / organisation strategy.

Competency Based Interview (CBI) accreditation workshop

This workshop provides HR and line managers with the skills required to train colleagues to conduct competency based interviews together with a broader knowledge of how competencies fit within an overall selection process. An initial two-and-a-half day workshop, preceded by pre-work activity is followed by two-rounds of co-delivery enables participants to deliver these programmes in-house and, in some cases, can form the basis for learning a ‘lite’ version of our Development of Potential (DOP™) assessment process.

Fees
A typical CBI accreditation event involving 12 participants would incur a fee of £15,000 (plus VAT). The host organisation would bear accommodation and travel costs.

Coaching for Competency (CfC) Accreditation Workshop

This workshop provides HR and line managers with the skills required to train their colleagues to evaluate their employees’ behaviours and competencies on an ongoing basis relating to their delivery of their assigned accountabilities and tasks in conjunction with providing feedback and coaching skills that will enable them to act much more proficiently as managers of talent. Behaviours have the most impact upon performance, especially when aligned with highly effective technical capability. Those managers that are able to accurately and effectively rate behaviours and develop their team members’ competencies as part of their overall performance management processes will lead a superior performing team. The CfC Accreditation Workshop process enables an organisation to expand the pool of people it has available in-house to train and develop this important managerial practice.

An initial three-day workshop, preceded by pre-work activity followed by two rounds of co-delivery enables participants to deliver these programmes in-house.

Fees
A typical CfC accreditation event involving 12 participants would incur a fee of £18,000 (plus VAT). The host organisation would bear accommodation and travel costs.
